Crown Heights Church Repair

Studio Nyandak is working as the associate architect to Caples Jefferson Architects on this landmarked church. The landmarked Hebron 7th Day Adventist School building in Crown Heights was originally constructed in 1889 as the Brooklyn Methodist Episcopal Home for the Aged and Infirm.

The renovation scope includes facade repair and restoration, chimney reconstruction, brick replacement, and parapet stabilization, along with the repair of some structural members. The project will also make some changes to the front entry by proposing accessibility improvements to engage with expanded communities and ensure the building’s longevity.
