Union Square Office Fit-Out
Studio Nyandak designed the light-filled interior of our office space in Union Square, Manhattan to articulate our commitment to open collaboration. Workstations and shelving were designed and fabricated on site in light Baltic birch plywood. A model making workshop and an ever-growing library emphasize our care for interdisciplinary design and iterative work processes.
Our studio is located on the sixth floor of a historic 1891 building designed by William Kuhles. Originally built as the headquarters of G Shirmer, a music publishing company, the facade is covered in music-themed reliefs - an ode to the neighborhood’s history as a music and theater hub. As an extension of this history, there is always music playing the studio!
